Stockholm in January is cold. Damn cold. If the curiously solid waterways weren’t indication enough, there’s a hulking great tower in the city centre which proudly alternates between the time and the temperature. Right now, it’s 9 AM and it’s an alarming -9 degrees Celsius. Close to the offending tower lies the headquarters for EA Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment, or DICE for short. Formed in 1988, they’ve become synonymous in more recent years with the meteoric rise of a series of war-themed first person shooters – some of which you may be familiar with. Today, we’re here for a very special first look at the return of one of their biggest titles; Battlefield 3.
